Rex Hise

Rex started building homes in 1982, and has been in the construction business ever since. The first home was built in Garland Texas in Glen Brook Meadows. 228 Pebblecreek was a 3 bedroom two living area brick home that sold for a whooping $130,000 dollars.

From that first home I new that I had found something that I loved to do. This passion continues today however the prices have slightly gone up.

From Glen Brook Meadows, to Firewheel Estates, the Greens, Country Club South, Eldorado in Mckinney, Spring Creek in Richardson. In the late 80's and with a banking crisis Rex moved his building business to Atlanta Ga for 3 years before moving back to the Dallas area.

After moving back Rex built around the Lower Greenville area  in Dallas and later started builder Higher end homes in North Dallas.

Rex enjoys remodeling and home renovation because you are usually taking a property that is uninhabitable and making it better than new.

I believe and find comfort in restoring homes. Sometimes it makes more since to renovate rather than scrap the lot and build new from the ground up. Its very satisfying to take a property that is no longer livable and restore it for a new family to enjoy for years to come.

Rex is personally involved in all phases of the construction project. I believe to achieve the quality I am demanding that I personally need to over see each job. From the design, to the frame, sheetrock, paint and finish out I personally supervise each step of the construction process.

Is the customer always right ? I would rather look at it this way, As the builder I  work for my home owner, so on any given week I have multiple  employers. Building a house is a long process with 1000's of moving parts. I strive to make the entire process a enjoyable event. My goal is to build a home with quality second to none and at the end of the project make the new owner proud of the new home as I am just as proud as they are. to me a house that I build is like a piece of art. Just like a painting is admired so is a new home.
